Emily Lewis [email protected] Emily is a second-year student and lives in downtown Indianapolis. As a student at Indiana University, she studied Criminal Justice and Anthropology and was actively involved in her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Indiana University Dance Marathon. This past summer she clerked with the Office of the Attorney General for Indiana and in the past has worked with the Indianapolis Department of Public Safety and Congressman Todd Rokita. In law school, she is a Student Ambassador and member of the Women’s Caucus. She is interested in focusing in criminal, family, or corporate law. As Co-President with Heidi, it is their goal to bring more educational and networking opportunities with criminal law in Indiana to the students at McKinney. |

Heidi Bewley [email protected] Heidi is a 2L and a native of Brownsburg, Indiana. She attended University of the Cumberlands where she double majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She has a strong interest in criminal law; particularly on the federal level and in sex trafficking. This past summer she interned with the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Hamilton County, where she worked in Superior Court 1 and sex crimes. In law school she is also a member of Women’s Caucus; participates in moot court, and is pursuing graduate certificates in both criminal law and advocacy skills. As Co-President with Emily, they are excited to use the resources that CLA can offer to help students navigate a career path. |

Hillary is a 3L with an interest in criminal defense. She plans to move to Denver, Colorado upon graduating in May. She is from Peru, Indiana and went to Indiana University Bloomington for undergrad. She currently clerks at Kammen & Moudy.

Nia is a 2L at Indiana University McKinney School of Law. She graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Prior to law school, she was an avid tennis player where she competed in an international tennis tournament in Holland. Nia is particularly interested in criminal law and human rights. Nia’s prior work experience includes working at the State Attorney’s Office- Victim Assistance Unit in Tallahassee, Florida as a juvenile victim advocate as well as a post-conviction relief intern at the Marion County Prosecutor's Office here in Indianapolis.

Previously, he has worked for the Floyd County Prosecutor's Office and the Indiana Attorney General's Office in the Criminal Appeals Division. He is currently working for the Delamater Law Office, which practices in the areas of Criminal and Family law.
